hi!

baru tadi dapat msj…i got the job at kota damansara! so now my head is kind of messed up…still in shock and disbelief..so, untuk tenangkan diri, aku decide untuk tulis kat sini…

pros:

1. ada stable ofis hour, (9-6)

2. at least aku ada keje! aku bolela contribute kat famili aku..xla freeloader je…

cons:

1. it’s kota damansara, man! i’m practically an alien at the place… it’s a foreign environment for me…so, i’m a little scared…

2. will the pay worth the expenses? tambang, rent….

tapi lpas borak ngan babah, lega siket. babah kata…just go for it! …but in a more intelligent way lah…i translated it to the teen way (meaning the way it sounded in my head!) hehehe

anyways…wish me luck!!

MY FIRST INTERVIEW! HOORAY!

HI! i’m a little tired right now but i want to put this post up before the day ends because i want today’s date to be a reminder. i’ll may revisit this post and edit it in the future.

my interviewer was so kind and understanding….it certainly erased my stigma of scary interviewers, that pressures you into quitting. so, to others who have the same phobia as me, don’t fret and give it a try! :D
update:

at first i wanted to write in detail, but after reconsidering, there might be some info that is confidential. so to Ain, sorry to disappoint you but i decided that the interview will be told in a general manner…sorry! :(
so, alkisah…

hari selasa, siapkan dokumen and cari balik kasut masa konvo.

pagi Rabu, naik komuter gi umah K.Kina, nak bermalam kat sana. Dalam komuter, praktis sikit2 sendiri. K. kina yg rekomen job ni, and dia still training lagi. and shift k.kina start kol 4 aritu. so, kitrg gi lunch dulu. jumpa colleagues dia and derang bg moral support. jgn takut, rileks…

K.kina teman kat ruang menunggu interview sepanjang saya melalui sesi tu. Terima kasih bebanyak la K.kina kerana banyaaaaaaaaaaaaakkk sgt membantu liza.  mmg x terkata rasa terharu liza….

masa interview, interviewer tu mmg sgt ramah mesra. tapi sbb saya dok kalut, dan cepat nervous, byk tersasul. ada skali dia repeat question, maksudnya saya a) x jwb soalan b) ckp x jelas. tapi Alhamdulillah, first experiance saya x berakhir dgn trauma…hehehe…

tapi tu lah, saya slalu lambat jwb sbb saya x sure kena jawab a) beri jawapan yg kita nak jwb b) atau beri jawapn yang betul.

haa…mesti ada yg konfius kan, apa beza dia? sama mcm jwp exam. sbb tu wpon ada yg terer blaja and jwp berjela-jela tapi markah still siket. ada 2 kesilapan org slalu buat.

1. org slalu jwb APA YG MEREKA TAHU, bukan apa yang soklan tu nak.

2. kdg2, wpon org tahu apa yg soklan tu nak, drg xtahu cara yg BETUL untuk sampaikan points.

perkara ni saya dpt tahu masa hadir kelas klinik masa darjah 6, F3 and F5. (hehehe, student bermasalah..*blush*)

jadi, masa interview tu saya masih lagi dlm peringkat jawab apa yg saya NAK jwb. maybe, bila dah lama and dah collect experience, saya akan mampu menjawab dgn betul dan berhemah. Amiin…..

ps: kaki sakit gilaa…size 9 utk pompuan susah nak cari. huhu….

just one of those days…

aloha! nothing interesting at the moment…so i decided to share another E-MAIL from a friend:

Sesungguhnya wanita dijadikan daripada rusuk kiri lelaki.

Dia bukan dicipta dari kepala ke kaki, juga bukan dari tapak
kaki. Dia dicipta dari sebelah rusuk kiri lelaki supaya dia hampir
kepada kamu(lelaki) ,lengan lelaki dicipta untuk mempertahankan
wanita, dekat dengan hati lelaki untuk disayangi.

Woman was made from the rib of man,
She was not created from his head to top him,
Nor from his feet to be stepped upon,
She was made from his side to be close to him,
From beneath his arm to be protected by him,
Near his heart to be loved by him.

till next time, TAKE CARE!!! :)

a lesson on love

aloha!

i received this email from a friend, and i thought of sharing it with others….

AT the beginning, the girl’s family objected strongly on her dating
this guy…..Saying that it has got something to do with family background & that the girl will suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.

Due to family pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Despite the girl loving the guy deeply, she always ask him: ‘How deep is your love for me?’

As the guy is not very good with words, this often causes the girl to be  upset. With that & family pressure, the girl often vent her anger on him.

As for him, he only endures it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies in overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl:

‘I’m not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you.  If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them around.

Will you marry me?’

The girl agreed, & with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So, before he leave, they got engaged.

The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it’s hard, but both never thought of giving up.

One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was crashed into by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her but the only thing that come out of her mouth was a sigh.

She has lost her voice……

The doctors says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. She broke down as her parents try to comfort her.

During the stay in hospital, she was accompanied by anguish and silent tears. Upon reaching home, she heard the phone ringing.  It pierced her heart everytime it rang. She does not want to let the guy know.

Not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer. With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply, and make countless  phonecalls.

All the girl could do was cry….

The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy. With a new environment, the girl learn sign language & started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy.

One day, her friend came & told her that he’s back.

She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn’t anymore news of him.

A year passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy’s wedding. The girl was shattered.

When she open the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what’s going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her.

He used sign language telling her

‘I’ve spent a year’s time to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice.

I Love You.’

With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

a tiring day in KL….

ola!

yesterday, me, mom and lil’ sis went to kl. my main objective was to visit the career fair at midval and spend the weekend with my family. but the mall was jammed-packed with people!!!… we ended up exhausted and tired by the end of the day..

taken form Nana’s blog:

Page 61: Sometimes Shortcuts can be Longer

This Saturday was damn-gerous. Want to hear the whole story?

I woke up at 10.30 am, wondering whether I woke up too late, since I promised to assist my older sister to accompany her to a career fair. Turned out she was still in her bed. Whoo, lucky me….

I wished I didn’t say that later.

We went there by commuter, from Seremban. The ride was pretty smooth, a good start. I was a bit excited as I haven’t been to Midvalley for a long time ( read: LAST YEAR). Okay, not so long, just four months ago.

We arrived at around 2.00 pm. Hungry. DAMN hungry. In fact, I had to note here, we haven’t eaten our breakfast, and I don’t eat dinner last night either. Unfortunately, we were going in circles just to find a decent place with decent food. When we find a nice place, the food were questionable. When we find a location with nice food, no place to sit.

So, Liza went to the interview, empty stomached. Well, with her depressed face, maybe it will create an illusion she is smaller and despaired then she looks. I heard guys were more helpless with helpless looking women.

Not a chance.

She finished her interview and browsing at the Career Fair around 3.00 pm. I’ve had my fill at Sweetchat. It was a saving grace. We went to the Food Junction: No Place. We went to the Oasis: Coming Soon. We went to Burger King: Questionable, and Mom wants to eat rice. So finally, we went to Sweetchat. I got a set of…I don’t remember what did they called the noodle’s name, something fancy, with Prosperi-Tea ( taste like iced tea, again some fancy name). Oh, I got a free calendar with promotion coupons. Freebies are always welcomed!

Here I would like to complain; Why, oh why do you feel the need to write description about food like making poetry? I don’t really need to know whether my food will emit ‘zen’ out of me or bring out the ’spiritual being of my power’ or ‘excites my soul’. You guys really make me feel as if I’m condoning an exorcism rather than eating. Here’s a tip:

EATING IS pleasant. EXORCISM isn’t.

Since we don’t go out much, Kak Liza decided to bring us to The Gardens, the neighbor of Midvalley. The Gardens…wow, less people ( never been much of a crowd-person, I am), and we finally get to eat at a food court there. There’s a BORDER bookstore next to it.

I was embarrassed when I was notified by a staff there that I was not allowed to take pictures around, unless on the event at the center. So, sorry friends, no pictures of The Gardens for you. But it was very nice, clean, and classy. It is for rich people.

Which remind me, I’m not rich. Gah….

And now, the HORROR.

We wanted to go back, but Midvalley was crowd as…you guess which curse word I want to use. What place that is beyond your imagination would be torturous and crowded at the same time? Yes, you guess it….No, SCHOOL is close, but not right.

Note to self: Buy a Touch N Go. You’ll never know when you might need it. As in KTM Midvalley for instance.

At first, we planned on watching a movie ( Yes Man in our thoughts) until the crowd steer clear. Bad move. The cinema counter’s line-up is competing with the KTM ticket booth. And so, again, to the Gardens. We hangout there until around 6.00 pm.

Huh! Shocking! You know, we went to Medan Selera near Big Apple at the LG floor of Midvalley. It never crossed our minds that the brightly lit food court in front of it is actually a connector of the Gardens to Midvalley. We only found out when we were searching for Belanga. Reminder: Next time eating out in Midvalley, find Belanga.

Also, there’s a cinema at The Gardens too, but let’s not go to the price part….heheh….

Finally, plan C:

  1. Too a cab ( slight change; we took the rapidKL instead. How would I survive in KL? They sure love pushing and shoving as a hobby. It made my hometown a godsend. So much for being ‘more technology-wise, more civilized’. Yes, stress is a killer…)

Woohoo! My first RapidKL ticket! Oh God, I’m a loser…

  2. Go to University LRT Station
  3. Bought tickets for three to KL Central
  4. Bought Touch N Go, use it to go to Rawang
  5. Stopped at Putra Station
  6. Bought tickets to Seremban ( Can’t use Touch N Go, we had no money in it. BUT, I still have complaints about it. Later)
  7. Arrived at Seremban.
  8. SLEEP.

Now, where do I start? Oh yes, Touch N Go card…

HOW THE HE-….ehem, sorry…How did a RM20 card became a RM25? And we only have RM9.50 in it?

(click on the thumbnails to see more clearly of the blasphemy!)

Look, I can understand if it’s RM20: RM10 for the card, another RM10 for the balance. But what’s with another RM5? I GET RM5 for 5 DAYS allowance, and they RIPPED OFF from me in less than 5 MINUTES!

Forget Jack The Ripper, there’s a new Ripper in town! Yeah, I have problems with giving money away like a breeze of oxygen. Damn it, I’m suffocating here!

Liza,Liza…she bought tickets to Seremban, but went out using Touch N Go…money go to the waste basket…Okay, let’s see from an optimistic point of view… Thank you Liza, you helped fill a government worker’s family bowl, you helped giving the ktm workers extra money, so they can give their teenage son to fill the illegal-driven bike and to top up their ever-nonexistent credit. You’ve saved the world!

Dejected…

So yeah, right back to the point. When we were on the train going to Seremban, it stopped at Midvalley for a while. So many people is still there! Guess I don’t regret taking the longer way. At least I’m among those sitting in the train, not standing beside it. The previous line reminds me of something:

Liza: (calling Nana) Nana, computer tetiba standby. Nak buat apa?
Nana: Standby ya? Kalau macam tu, Stand Beside la.
Liza: ^&$#%$*U&^$%

Ah, the good ol‘ days….

So the moral of the story:

Sometimes Shortcuts can be Longer…
P/S: I saw this cool designed Coca Cola Bottle at Midvalley ( yeah, yeah, you might have see it tons of time, but I’m not a city girl, so this kind of things excites me!)
